Information for Businesses

What is the benefit of these vouchers to my business?
This exciting new initiative being offered by BBN is aimed at recycling local dollars to strengthen and build resilience within our local community. We are  offering this as an alternative to the ‘generic’ gift vouchers that many people buy when they do not know where the recipient shops – thereby usually sending the money out of town eg. Myer card.

What do I do when a customer presents a voucher?

Accept vouchers for payment of goods or services you offer.  Remember vouchers represent cash and you will require the vouchers to complete redemption.

How do I redeem the vouchers?
Fill out redemption advice (see pdf below) and drop into GMCU or forward via mail to Benalla Business$ Redemption, P O Box 760, Benalla 3671 by close of business Friday for collation and release on the following Tuesday.

How will I know that the vouchers are real?

You will be able to tell if BB$ vouchers are legitimate as they will be:
•    Stamped with a BBN stamp (see pdf below)
•    Stamped with GMCU date stamp (see pdf below)
•    All vouchers will be individually numbered in red starting at 00001.
•    They are printed on semi gloss paper that is heavier quality than a normal copy paper.
•    Vouchers only available in $10 (blue) or $20 (orange) denominations.
(samples can be viewed in pdf BB$ presentation below).
