2026 Christmas Campaign - Shop Benalla First
Christmas Activities - November & December
The Benalla Business Network (BBN) and Benalla Rural City Council (BRCC) are delivering a range of festive activities for the community and local businesses this Christmas, including:
Silver Saturday — 14 November
Support the annual Christmas Cheer campaign, delivered in conjunction with Tomorrow Today, The Salvation Army and Ray White. The campaign collects donations of toys, food, vouchers and cash, which are distributed to registered individuals and families across the community before Christmas.
Shop Benalla First Christmas campaign
Shop local throughout December and go in the draw to win a share of $1,000 in Benalla Business Dollars.
Simply make a purchase at a participating business, keep your receipt and enter via the QR code displayed in participating shop windows. Winners will be announced weekly throughout December.
Main Street Market — Friday 4 December
Join us from 9:30am to 2:00pm for the Main Street Market and shop locally for gifts, clothing, food and more. It’s a great opportunity to support local businesses and get into the Christmas spirit.
Christmas Window Competition
Local businesses are invited to decorate their shopfronts and help bring some festive colour to Benalla. The best dressed windows will be in the running to win Benalla Business Dollars.
Busking in the CBD
From 14 November, enjoy free busking and live entertainment around the Benalla CBD as part of the Christmas campaign. It’s another way to bring activity into the town centre and create a festive atmosphere in the lead-up to Christmas.
