BBN Connected Series: Practical digital workshops for Benalla businesses
Benalla Business Network is bringing local businesses two practical digital workshops this October, designed to help improve your online presence and make it easier to connect with customers.
Delivered with YourLink and supported by Telstra, both sessions are available in person at Benalla Library or online via Zoom.
These are hands-on sessions, not just presentations. Bring your laptop or tablet and work through your own business as you go.
Session 1 — Digital Business Health Check
Can customers easily find the right information about your business online?

Free for BBN members | $20 for non-members
Start by Googling your own business and seeing what a potential customer sees. Then work through the areas that may need updating, including your Google Business Profile, website, Facebook and Instagram, maps, contact details, opening hours, photos, reviews and account security.
The aim is simple: help make sure the information customers find about your business is accurate, current and useful.

This practical session will look at simple ways to stay connected with customers across social media, email, YouTube and other digital channels.
The focus is on making digital communication more manageable — choosing the right channels, creating useful content, staying consistent and reaching customers without letting content creation take over your week.
Bring your device and apply the ideas to your own business during the session.
